Manchester United Is In The Lead To Sign The €120 Million Rated Attacker

Manchester United are reportedly in the lead to sign Goncalo Ramos, as reported by Record through Sport Witness. With so many teams showing interest in the 26-goal Benfica striker, the Red Devils will need to up their game if they want to sign him this summer.

The summer transfer window is a crucial time for Manchester United. Erik ten Hag will attempt to assemble a title-contending group. The Red Devils are really suffering up front. Therefore they really need a new striker.

Ten Hag is looking for a reliable starting striker despite reports that Manchester United would make Wout Weghorst’s transfer permanent. Although the Red Devils have investigated a number of market options, they may need to zero in on only one or two in order to act quickly and seem resolute.

Due to their dire need for a new striker, Manchester United may be in the lead to sign Goncalo Ramos from Benfica

They may no longer be interested in their primary target, Victor Osimhen, after doing extensive research. They had a longer list, including Randal Kolo Muani and Tammy Abraham. However, it’s possible that none of them will materialize as simply and uncomplicatedly as they’d want.

Even if Harry Kane was high on their list, it’s unlikely that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would let his best player go for a direct competitor. As a result, they may decide to change tactics and investigate Goncalo Ramos again.

The Benfica striker, who scored 26 goals this season, has had another stellar year. Many thought that he will depart the club in January. Interestingly, Manchester United were said to be interested. However, they ultimately opted to sign Weghorst on loan rather than pay Benfica’s astronomical transfer fee.

According to news emanating from Portugal, the Red Devils are now in the lead. After the season concludes, it may become clearer whether they are serious about the Portugal international

Manchester United is expected to offer a sum very close to his release clause. Therefore, the asking price hasn’t changed. United may yet try to negotiate a lower fee with Benfica, despite reports that the Portuguese club has accepted the loss of its star player.

The 26-goal scorer is seen as an excellent match for Ten Hag’s system. Even though Manchester United can provide Ramos with Champions League football next season, he also has competition from Chelsea. According to news emanating from Portugal, the Red Devils are now in the lead. After the season concludes, it may become clearer whether they are serious about the Portugal international.

After ‘tensions’ with the Raine Group, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani reportedly bypassed them and went straight to the Glazer family with his new bid to acquire Manchester United. For the last several months, Sheikh Jassim has been at the head of a Qatari delegation trying to buy out United’s present owners. However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s offer to buy 50% ownership of the club is now the most promising option.
