Arsenal Transfer News: Mikel Arteta will look to sign Declan Rice in the summer of 2023. He will also look for two more central midfielders, as well as a winger and likely a left back
Arsenal Transfer News: Mikel Arteta plans to bring in four new players for Arsenal this summer. The club is now convinced it can sign Declan Rice despite interest from Liverpool. The Times reports that despite interest from Chelsea, Arsenal is certain they can sign West Ham’s No. 41 at the conclusion of the season. Simon Phillips mentioned that Liverpool is displaying interest in the £80 million England international as well.
Arteta reportedly wants to bring in two new central midfielders, a winger, and maybe a new left-back if Kieran Tierney leaves. The Times claims that Arsenal may rekindle their interest in Moises Caicedo. The Scotland national team member has started only four Premier League games so far this season.
Arteta knows he has to strengthen his team’s bench as Arsenal prepares to play in the Champions League again for the first time since 2016–17. As a result of their easy passage through the Europa League Group Stage, Arsenal has been able to make the fewest changes to their starting Lineup of any Premier League team this season.

Arsenal Transfer News: What’s the matter?
But, the next season of Champions League competition would likely increase the demands on the players. The Gunners can feel secure about signing Rice as it is since neither Liverpool nor Chelsea is likely to beat them to his signature.
Current Premier League standings see the Reds in seventh and the Blues in tenth, both of which might miss out on European involvement next season.

Given that Rice has already expressed a desire to play in the Champions League, it is quite probable that the 24-year-old will join the Gunners in the coming months, barring any unexpected turns of events involving Liverpool or Chelsea. It seems like Rice will be joining the Gunners this summer, so keep a watch on him.
What’s next for Declan Rice?
The Guardian quote the West Ham captain as saying: “One hundred per cent I want to play in the Champions League. For the last two or three years I’ve been saying that.” This summer, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to spend whatever Champions League money he earns on at least four new players to completely revamp the team.
The Gunners believe they can outbid Chelsea for England and West Ham United player Declan Rice, who is said to cost over £80 million. They may also rekindle their pursuit of Moisés Caicedo, another midfielder, after failing to buy him during the January transfer window.
