Arsenal Transfer News: Ray Parlour, a former player for Arsenal, has told TBR Football that West Ham captain and midfielder Declan Rice will be joining the Gunners for the next season.
The Gunners are one of several teams who have been linked to Rice due to the Englishman’s stellar play this season. Rice’s two-game scoring streak in all competitions has been crucial in West Ham’s fight against relegation. West Ham advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League thanks to his goals against Gent and Bournemouth on April 23. The team won the quarterfinals 5-2 on aggregate.
In a recent episode of Seaman Says, Parlour predicted that Rice would be playing for the Emirates in the next season. The Gunners, who have been lacking in depth as of late, would greatly benefit from acquiring the midfielder due to his versatility.

Arsenal Transfer News: Former Arsenal Player Backs Declan Rice to play for Arsenal in the summer transfer window
Talking about Rice’s consistency and his possible move to a bigger club next season, Parlour said: “He’ll be at Arsenal next year! He’s definitely going to be at Arsenal next year.”
However, the transfer price of roughly £80 million for Rice may prove to be an obstacle. However, if the Gunners are successful in signing him, it would be a major coup and strengthen their ambitions in a number of competitions.
Due to his excellent performance for both West Ham and England, Rice is a highly sought-after player. Many of the best teams, including Arsenal, are interested in him because of his flexibility and defensive skill.
Fans of Arsenal have already shown interest in having Rice play for the club. Parlour’s words will only increase that interest. Although the transfer cost could be an issue, the Gunners may do their best to get the highly-regarded midfielder this summer.

Good. I hope we add Caicedo too. It'll make us really strong in ball retention and attacking transitions. https://t.co/PaUMJx1vfk
