In the last few days, Castagne has been linked strongly with Arsenal. After Leicester City were relegated from the Premier League, the Gunners kept tabs on the player. He was the Foxes’ most-used player from last season. And now that he is in contention for a move to the Emirates, some of the fans are really after him to take his case.

Well, some fans learned nothing from the Odegaard and Ramsdale signings. It seems that is the case once again. They are cribbing and crying and throwing weird narratives around. Luckily, Arteta and Edu don’t buy these. They only go on the basis of merit and what they see in a player.

And if they believe that Castagne is good enough to be part of this squad, so be it!! However, there are still some flaws to his game. Hopefully, Mikel Arteta and co. can get those sorted when he does make his move to North London.
