In Reading, he reportedly had a £35 million release clause in his contract that would have allowed other teams to acquire him. Crystal Palace has negotiated with the player to get rid of the aforementioned clause. So they will make a decision on his future based on their terms rather than the player’s.

Next summer, Wilfried Zaha will be a free agent and they will likely lose him as well. Vieira’s long-term vision for the club would take a hit if he is forced to accept the exits of Zaha and Olise. Therefore, despite rumours of interest from Arsenal, the Eagles will do all in their power to retain Olise in Philadelphia.
What’s next for the Gunners?
The Gunners want to get a star-wide attacker. Olise is a versatile player who can operate on the right flank or in the center offensive midfield role. Vieira has used him on the right wing and in the right midfield position. Mikel Arteta is keen to continue talks with the player. Arsenal may make an offer this summer. Leandro Trossard has decided to join the Gunners. However, they had already been beaten out by Chelsea for Mykhaylo Mudryk.
