“I Am Going To Go To Arsenal, It’s Just A Matter Of Time”, BIG News As The €280,385-PER-WEEK Super Star Is Set To Sign For Arsenal

Arsenal Newsnow

Arsenal Newsnow: According to Fernando Kallas, who spoke on The Transfer Show on Sky Sports News, “it’s just a matter of time until the deal is done” for Joao Felix to go from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal.

According to the Spanish football expert, Felix’s relationship with Diego Simeone has “broken down” and turned toxic. Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, is eager to sign the Portugal international.

In light of Gabriel Jesus’ injury and their current position atop the Premier League standings, Arsenal is actively pursuing fresh offensive faces in the January transfer market.

While Felix secured a massive move to Atletico from Benfica when he was only a youngster, he has failed to live up to the promise. Many have pointed to Simeone’s strategies as the cause for that. This explains why he’s eager to move on from Atletico Madrid.

The ‘explosive’ Felix would ‘enhance’ Arsenal’s championship hopes, according to Kallas. He is ‘better than whatever they have right now,’ he said.

Arsenal Newsnow: Joao Felix leaving Atletico Madrid for Arsenal?

Joao Felix no longer wants to play for Madrid. According to Kallas, Jorge Mendes has spent all night attempting to negotiate a new contract for the player. The relationship between him and Simeone has been severed.

He said: “Many Atletico Madrid players have expressed a desire to leave the club and be free of manager Diego Simeone. In the past, we’ve seen this with Renan Lodi, Matheus Cunha, and now Felix. Atletico, though, invested much in him and now expects something in return. After the season, for six months, we’re talking about 15 million Euros! That’s a lot of cash, for sure.

If Atletico Madrid really wants to keep Simeone in this poisonous climate, then they need to trade or release their finesse players, in my opinion. He’ll need to recruit players with a similar military mindset.

Many talented players won’t even consider joining the club because of the terrible atmosphere in the locker room. My sense is that Simeone doesn’t care about having talented players on his team. Only those who can contribute to his strategy will be considered. To me, it’s clear that trust has been lost, and closing the sale is only a matter of time.

He’s a fantastic performer. In a word, Joao Felix has my heart. Only 23, he is young for his position. Very dangerous player. I believe he’d be a perfect fit for Arsenal right now. If they were to sign a player like Joao Felix, it would greatly improve their chances of winning the Premier League. One step over what they now have.”

What’s next?

When discussing potential additions to Arsenal’s roster for the next January window, those two players’ names have come up most often. Does Arsenal have a chance of closing both deals? That would be remarkable. It would do wonders for the team’s level of competition.

You may recall that Emile Smith Rowe has recovered from his injuries and that Jesus is expected to return as well. As an added bonus, Eddie Nketiah has been fielding calls and handling business at the top so far, but he can’t keep up with the pace on his own. Hence, Arsenal has to bring in at least one of the aforementioned individuals.
