Arsenal transfer News: Ansu Fati has been linked to a move to Arsenal and Manchester United. His agent Jorge Mendes is meeting with Barcelona to discuss his future
Arsenal Transfer News: Spanish news site COPE claims that both Arsenal and Manchester United have contacted Ansu Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes, regarding a possible transfer this summer. Agent of the Barcelona striker to meet with the Blaugrana shortly to talk about his future.
This excellent winger, though, has his sights set on playing for Barcelona in the next seasons. Despite rumours to the contrary in recent weeks, the Catalan club’s management is not inclined to approve his exit. This scenario at Spotify Camp Nou has the player’s camp very worried.
For Barcelona, Fati is no longer a starter and has been a benchwarmer instead. He’s just 20, but the 20-year-old needs consistent playing time to reach his full potential as a world-class player. But Xavi Hernandez’s intentions for Barcelona have not included him much.
Arsenal Transfer News: What’s the matter?
It will be intriguing to watch whether Barcelona’s head coach decides to reinstate the promising young winger to the starting lineup in the coming months. With a release clause of almost €1 billion, Fati is under contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2027.

Obviously, no team in the world would ever want to exercise his release clause. Only if the player actively pursues a transfer or if Barcelona sells will clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United be able to sign him. At the present time, neither Barcelona nor Fati are interested in a transfer. A transfer over the summer is quite doubtful.

What’s next for Ansu Fati?
The Spanish international winger would have been an excellent long-term addition to Arsenal. They badly need more depth in their front three. Despite his previous seasons marred by injuries, he still has a chance to become a superstar. The addition of him might have aided in his development as a player.
As for Manchester United, players like Anthony Martial may be on their way out of the club at the conclusion of the current campaign. If Erik ten Hag had signed Ansu Fati, he would have been a great addition to his team.
The Dutchman has a proven track record of developing young players. The Barcelona winger stands to benefit from his guidance. However, it is not expected that he will not move to Arsenal or Manchester United in the summer.
