Arsenal Transfer News: 90min reports that Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all in the running to sign Ibrahim Sangare. The PSV Eindhoven midfielder has not closed the door on the possibility of leaving the Dutch club and beginning his professional career with one of the major teams in the Premier League.

Several Premier League teams pursued Ibrahim Sangare during the summer transfer window. So his name is not unfamiliar to them. The 25-year-old midfield dynamo has had a successful season with PSV. He has contributed to the team’s success in the Eredivisie.

It’s possible that PSV didn’t want to disturb the squad too much by selling too many players during that window. There were a lot of rumours about him joining a Premier League team, notably Chelsea, but nothing ever came of it. PSV still wanted to retain talents like Sangare on board after losing Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke in January.

Arsenal Transfer News: What’s the matter?

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, all big teams in the Premier League, allegedly received offers to sign Sangare. Due to their unique requirements for a new midfielder, these names have emerged. Sangare is one of several names being considered by Liverpool, one of many teams in the market.

Liverpool is interested in a holding midfielder in addition to pursuing high-profile players like Jude Bellingham. Sangare is a viable choice. But Jurgen Klopp may prefer to bring in a player with more experience in the Premier League. Both Matheus Nunes and Joao Palinha of Fulham and Ruben Neves of Sporting CP remain desirable options.

Nevertheless, reports indicate that Chelsea was instructed to pay €37 million to activate Sangare’s release clause. PSV will aim for such numbers in order to maximize their profit from the sale of the 25-year-old midfield dynamo. It’s unclear whether the Blues will come back for the midfielder.

What’s next for Ibrahim Sangare?

The name Arsenal is included in the report as well. The Gunners are looking to replace Sangare with another midfielder. Yet Declan Rice is still a top priority. The Gunners are in the lead to sign the English international.

A transfer to the Premier League for Sangare is possible, albeit whether or not it would include a top-flight club is unclear at this time. A transfer to a top-four side looks doubtful. But a move to a club in the Europa League might be an option for the 25-year-old midfield dynamo.
