Rennes paid him €12 million. He’s likely to demand a cost of about €40 million from a new team. Majer is a technically proficient player who also has the ability to adapt his defensive skills when necessary.

Having a versatile midfielder like him after losing Donny van de Beek for the rest of the season to a horrible injury is a huge boost for United’s chances. Rennes can get a lot of offers in the next several days, so they better get ready.
