Manchester City is the club that generally buys all the best players. Not just from the top flight of English football, which is considered the best League by many fans. But from all the top Leagues across the continent and beyond. However, there are times when even the Cityzens get offers they can’t refuse. And this could surely be one such time.

But does Pep Guardiola actually want to part ways with this crucial player who is in his squad and generally his first team!? That is the question everyone is asking at present.

When a club generally gets an offer they can’t refuse, there is surely a reason for it. And this time as well, the quality of the player in question, is undeniably top notch.

Are Manchester City Ready To Lose One Of Their Key Stars And Champions League Winner!?

The player who is in the limelight at present is none other than midfielder, Bernardo Silvo. A very renowned and credible Manchester City fan and source, recently confirmed this on Twitter. Though he tagged the Daily Sport as his source, it seems that such a proposal would have to be legit for him to report it.

It is being said that the Cityzens have been offered big money for the Portuguese international, along with the player getting an extraordinary salary as well. This would tempt both parties to at least consider the possibility of a move. A £70m transfer fee for the player and £800k-per-week salary. Hard to say no to that, for sure!!

Now, whether they accept this proposal or not, will depend on multiple factors. But yes, this early in the transfer window, if the player does leave, Pep and co. will have a lot of time to buy a replacement.

Further, Matteo Kovacic moving to the Etihad would also help their case. They could then go back in the market with the money they receive and buy a younger asset. However, the only question that remains is the fact if Manchester City are willing to go through with this hassle or not!? If they are ready to sell one of their veteran stars and buying a younger replacement, then the deal could surely happen.

Also, there are the likes of Caicedo and Lavia also available for them to sign, along with a list of other potential targets. So, this surely makes things interesting and the fans will be hoping to get an answer sooner than later.

This could now be an interesting transfer saga and the player’s interest in moving to Saudi or remaining at the Etihad could be a huge factor in this deal going through or not. Only time will tell what happens now.

A sale could mean that Pep will have to reinvest in the midfield, with the likes of Gundagon already gone. Let’s see what the Spaniard decides to do, with the new season more than a month away still!!

Bernardo Silva; Keep Or Sell!?

Silva was previously wanted by Arsenal as well. However, Manchester City refused to sell him to a League rival. They have already seen the consequences of letting a couple of players joining the Gunners last summer. They did not want to do that with Cancelo. And neither with Gundagon. So, the deal to the Emirates didn’t happen.

However, this is very different from that proposal. Though the amount may be slightly higher than what Arsenal would have offered, the terms would surely be way better. Even the salary is huge and incomparable to what Arsenal would give any player.

The player is 28 at present and will be 29 in August. Generally, Manchester City doesn’t have an AGE POLICY. But with the money being offered, they might consider a deal if there is a young high-quality replacement that they are able to get their hands on in the days that follow!!
