Chelsea Set To Bring This Top Talisman Back To Stamford Bridge!?

With rumours swirling about a possible return to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea great Eden Hazard has thrown a major clue regarding his future. The 32-year-old winger had a difficult four seasons in Spain due to ailments that restricted his playing time to only 76 games for Los Blancos until he was released earlier this year.

Hazard won the Premier League twice during his seven years with Chelsea. He was named the PFA Player of the Year once. His last month at the club was nothing short of amazing. He will be remembered fondly by Chelsea fans for his involvement in the team’s Europa League final triumph against Arsenal.

Even though he has had a lot of trouble with injuries, Hazard’s undoubted skill has been recognised throughout his career. He has reportedly being courted by as many as six different clubs this summer. But he is taking his time deciding which one to sign with.

His retirement has been the subject of much speculation, especially since he left international duty when Belgium was eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. There have been rumours about his retirement since he departed Madrid more than a year ago without signing with a new team.

With rumours swirling about a possible return to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea great Eden Hazard has thrown a major clue regarding his future

Hazard has hinted at retirement in a new documentary called “Believe.” This explores the lives of numerous Belgian players, including himself. One scene has him saying, “It’s time to enjoy life by drinking a few beers.” The documentary also follows former colleagues including Johan Bakayoko, Amadou Onana, and Jan Vertonghen as they go about their normal lives.

Finally, the uncertainty of Eden Hazard’s future after his departure from Real Madrid continues to be a topic of speculation. Fans would love it if he came back to the Blues. But it could not fit with the club’s transfer plan

With 110 goals and 92 assists in 352 games for Chelsea, Hazard will go down in history as one of the club’s all-time greats if he ever decides to call it quits. Fans would want to see a dramatic return to west London. But acquiring a player above the age of 25 may not fit with Chelsea’s long-term vision.

As a result of this stance, Chelsea did not attempt to recruit James Maddison from Leicester. Thus allowing Tottenham to beat them to the punch and sign their crosstown rival. The club’s recent transfer moves have shown their commitment to youth and long-term strategy.
