Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United Want The 20 Year Old Midfielder

Rumors abound in the Premier League. Carlos Baleba is one name that has drawn the attention of major players like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United among others. The 20-year-old Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder is creating quite a stir. It seems the English heavyweights are prepared to blow the bank with a £55 million offer to claim his skills.

Who then is Carlos Baleba? With Roberto De Zerbi at Brighton & Hove Albion, this rising sensation from Douala didn’t take long to establish his name. Although he spent his early years refining his talents at home, his 18-month tenure with LOSC Lille was what shot him to fame. Certainly, Baleba had some difficulties along the road, but he has really come into his own in the last few months. After Moises Caicedo departed, he has filled the void with ease, securing a regular place on the team sheet and logging over 1,500 minutes of playing time in 35 appearances in different tournaments.

Not that his outstanding development has gone unnoticed. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have all entered the race to get his signature. The desire from Arsenal is especially reasonable considering the doubts surrounding Jorginho and Thomas Partey’s futures at the Emirates. Considering the North London team has already fixed a price for the former, it seems wise to invest on a midfield player like Baleba.

With Thiago Silva maybe leaving Liverpool in the next transfer window, Baleba has a tempting chance to replace the former Barcelona midfielder. And Baleba is a very tempting option for Manchester United, who are about to say goodbye to midfielders like Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek. Though it may sound a little high, these clubs’ financial power should make shelling out £55 million not too difficult.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United Want The 20 Year Old Midfielder

Can Manchester United, Arsenal, or Liverpool close Carlos Baleba’s transfer this summer? The competition for his signature is intensifying, and it will undoubtedly be a fascinating struggle right up to the very end.

Arsenal is targeting to sign 18-year-old Barcelona midfield star Brian Farinas during the next summer transfer window, according to a Caught Offside report. Farinas has been mentioned by the Gunners as a possible addition in their attempt to strengthen their midfield. Significantly, Arsenal has competition for the youthful talent from Bundesliga giant Borussia Dortmund. But while he assesses his possibilities for the next stage of his career, Farinas is still unsure of where he will go.

Benicarlo-born Brian Farinas is the newest promising player to come out of Barcelona’s prestigious La Masia program. His football career started with CD Benicarlo, then he moved on to Villarreal and finally, in July 2018, Barcelona. Farinas has shown his enormous potential over the last six years by rising through the ranks at La Masia. With a short appearance for Barcelona Atletic to his credit, the 18-year-old now plays for Barcelona’s under-19 team. Notwithstanding his bright future with the Catalan team, Farinas is at a crossroads.
