Arsenal Wants The £42m Former Chelsea Star

Southampton Wants To Sign The £30m-rated Arsenal Man

Arsenal now has sights on Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta advocated for this action to generate interest in the gifted youngster. Arsenal targets fresh wingers and strikers especially in order to improve their offense. They have been connected with many possible acquisitions this summer: Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, Victor Osimhen of Napoli, and Brian Brobbey of Ajax.

Arsenal Wants The £42m Former Chelsea Star

Arteta seeks to increase the goal-scoring power of the club. Kai Havertz is the main striker right now usually playing ahead of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus. Still, the hunt for new offensive choices goes on. Reports from Spain show Arteta’s interest in former Chelsea attacker Joao Felix, who played last season on loan at Barcelona, Atletico Madrid’s competitor.

For €126 million Atletico Madrid bought Joao Felix from Benfica. Felix has battled to live up to expectations despite the high cost tag. Over his five years at Atletico, he has only 34 goals in 131 games across all levels. Reflecting a constant yet unimpressive performance, his spells on loan at Chelsea and Barcelona had similarly outcomes.

Atletico Madrid now looks prepared to unload Felix via another loan or a sale. Following Arteta’s advice, reports indicate Arsenal have moved to acquire Felix’s services. The Portuguese attacker shows promise and the Gunners want more attacking possibilities.

Felix has a price set by Atletico Madrid of around €50 million. Arsenal seems, nonetheless, more interested in a loan agreement with a buy clause. Before making a committed complete transfer, this strategy would enable them to assess Felix’s performance.

Arsenal’s hunt of Joao Felix fuels the enthusiasm as the summer transfer window moves on. Updates on this possible arrival are much awaited by Gunners’ supporters, who hope Felix may find his form and start to be a major contributor.

More news:

For Emile Smith Rowe, Arsenal has rebuffed down offers from two Premier League clubs. After suffering for playing time last season, the 23-year-old offensive midfielder is thinking about a change. Setbacks to his form have thrown him on the margins of Mikel Arteta’s team. Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard now occupy the starting places Smith Rowe formerly held. Last season he started only three Premier League games; he is keen to play more. Fulham and Crystal Palace have shown interest in him and provide possible fresh starts for him.

Manager Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace is creating an interesting idea. Given Palace having let go of Michael Olise, Smith Rowe might provide their assault a fresh angle. Although Smith Rowe is not a straight replacement, his inventiveness could close the void created by Olise leaving.

Another possibility is Fulham. They deal with the possible loss of Willian this summer. Though Smith Rowe and Willian play different forms, the young midfielder might still be a great addition to Fulham’s team. With his 11 goals and two assists during 37 games in the 2021/22 season, Smith Rowe clearly was talented.
