Midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, who now plays for Arsenal, will be leaving the club this summer. Supposedly, Arsenal and Sevilla, two of La Liga’s best clubs, have agreed for Sevilla to loan Lokonga to them for the 2024–25 season. If this goes through, it may be good for the player and the team.

Lokonga can’t grow and mature without consistent playing. He was loaned to Luton Town last season and had a solid performance there. He now has a fresh challenge and an opportunity to show off his talents on a greater scale with a stay in La Liga with Sevilla. The chance to join such a prestigious club is likely to thrill Lokonga, who has been courted by Sevilla for some time.

Next season, Arsenal cannot promise Lokonga consistent playing time. It is reasonable to loan him to Sevilla. Regular play in Spain might give Lokonga a leg up in the game. In the 2025–26 season, he has a shot of making Arsenal’s first squad if he shows enough promise. On the other hand, he might become a desirable asset for Arsenal to sell if his market worth increases.

It will be detrimental to Lokonga’s career if he sits on the bench for Arsenal. The 24-year-old midfielder can’t keep improving without consistent playing time. He has an opportunity to achieve exactly that with Sevilla. Because of La Liga’s reputation for technical excellence and fierce competition, he will jump at the chance to play there.

There is a lot of depth in Arsenal’s midfield right now. It makes sense to trade for guys who aren’t receiving much playing time, such as Lokonga. Because of this, the team can put its attention on acquiring top-tier players who can help them contend for the league championship. Both of Manchester City’s Premier League victories in the last two seasons were within striking distance of Arsenal. They can’t wait to add depth to their roster and try to win the championship again.

It will be fascinating to see Arsenal’s team management as the transfer market continues. They should bring in fresh talent while also selling off excess players. It’s possible that the Gunners’ hectic summer will begin with Lokonga’s loan to Sevilla.

When asked what they would be willing to pay for Jules Kounde this summer, Barcelona has asked for at least €60 million. The French national team has shown interest in the player. It seems like Mikel Arteta has found the right player in Kounde to bolster his defense.

As one of the top right-backs in the Premier League, Ben White demonstrates Mikel Arteta’s preference for full-backs with versatility. Kounde has excelled in both the center defense position and the right back position for both Barcelona and the French national team during Didier Deschamps’ tenure as coach. He is a versatile alternative, which makes him appealing to Arsenal.

The title of Premier League champion will be contested between Manchester City and Arsenal. They might improve their chances of winning by signing Kounde. The 25-year-old’s current market worth is set at least €60 million, and the Gunners have contacted Barcelona about signing him.

If Kounde expresses interest in joining Arsenal, they could be prepared to pay a premium to do so. Kounde may have strong feelings about remaining with Barcelona, but the club’s financial troubles may force them to sell him.
