Former Arsenal player informs Mikel Arteta the names of the three teams which are stronger than the Gunners

Former Arsenal defender William Gallas recently expressed concerns about his former club’s chances in European football, particularly in the Champions League. During an interview with Prime Casino, Gallas warned manager Mikel Arteta that top European teams, such as Liverpool, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich, are currently stronger than Arsenal. According to Gallas, these clubs possess a higher level of quality, making Arsenal’s path to European glory even more challenging.

Despite Arsenal’s recent success in the Premier League, where they have earned impressive points totals in the last two seasons, Gallas believes their focus should remain on domestic competitions. Arsenal finished the 2022-2023 season with 84 points and followed that up with 89 points last term. However, the club still faces a tough battle to secure their first league title in nearly two decades. Gallas pointed out that Manchester City narrowly edged Arsenal out for the title last season, and he emphasized that Liverpool, under their new manager Arne Slot, currently pose a strong challenge, sitting at the top of the Premier League.

Gallas also highlighted Chelsea’s resurgence under Enzo Maresca, noting their attacking strength and minimal defeats. He suggested that Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season remain uncertain, given the rising form of both Liverpool and Chelsea. Furthermore, Gallas acknowledged that the competition at the top of European football remains intense, with clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich continuing to strengthen their squads.

While Arsenal is currently performing well in the Champions League, Gallas insisted that Arteta’s side should prioritize domestic success. He urged the team to push themselves to the limit this season, warning that next year could see an even stronger competition from Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, and potentially Manchester United. Gallas’s remarks serve as a reality check for Arsenal fans, suggesting that while the team has made great strides, the road ahead remains filled with formidable challenges.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to make a move for Joao Pedro, a talented forward from Brighton, during the January transfer window. The 23-year-old Brazilian has shown promise with his skillful play and ability to impact the game in various attacking roles. With Arsenal’s current push for the Premier League title, they see Pedro as a key player to strengthen their front line.

Pedro is known for his versatility, capable of playing both as a central striker and on the wings. His quick pace, sharp dribbling, and intelligent movement make him a constant threat in the final third. Additionally, his ability to link up play and create space for teammates would be a valuable asset to Arsenal’s attacking unit. Pedro’s agility and technical skills allow him to beat defenders with ease, and his finishing ability ensures he can capitalize on chances in front of goal.
