Match Report: Easy Win For Chelsea Without Hazard Against Burnley In The Premier League

Chelsea won the match against Burnley at Turf Moor with a margin of 4-0 and their unbeaten streak continued in the Premier League. Eden Hazard was out of the squad of Chelsea FC due to a back pain. He was not in the training sessions of Chelsea in the recent days. The reports were also suggesting that he would not be involved against Burnley on Sunday. The things were really interesting to see how Chelsea would cope up without Eden Hazard. But the Blues have showed real class to beat Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday. Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made some changes in the starting lineup after the match against Bate Borisov in the Europa League. Willian is consistently playing for Chelsea in this season. All the players are getting some amount of rest. But due to unavailability of much classy players in that position for the Blues.

 

Burnley have started the match in a good tempo; but after that Maurizio Sarri’s men took the charge of the match. At the 22nd minute of the match, Alvaro Morata has given the lead to Chelsea as the Spanish centre forward has scored a brilliant goal from the pass provided by Ross Barkley. The goal was much needed for Chelsea to take the early lead in the match. The Goal was also needed for Alvaro Morata. He was not getting goals; the pressure was building on him. The Spaniard was too keen to get a goal in this match and finally he found the net for Chelsea. It was a brilliant finish by Alvaro Morata. Joe Hart had nothing to do with the finish. Pedro was injured and had to be taken off at the 30th minute of the match. Chelsea did not have Victor Moses and Callum Hudson Odoi in their squad to play in that position. So, Ruben Loftus Cheek came in place of Pedro. But he had to play in an awkward position for the Blues in this match. The first half ended with a scoreline of 1-0 in favour of the Blues at Turf Moor.

 

Ross Barkley had doubled the lead for the Blues at the 57th minute of the match. N’Golo Kante provided a beautiful ball towards Ross Barkley. Ross Barkley’s left footed stunner was a treat to watch out for. Willian also scored for the Blues in this match. Ross Barkley provided the assist in this goal for Willian. It was a brilliant finish by Willian. The Brazilian winger is constantly proving his worth in the side. Within 62nd minute of the match,the Blues were 3-0 ahead in the match. Ashley Barnes and Ashley Westwood came in for Jack Cork and Jeff Hendrick for Burnley. On the other hand, Fabregas and Olivier Giroud have also come in for Jorginho and Alvaro Morata in this match for the Blues in the second half. Ruben Loftus Cheek also got a goal in the injury time for the Blues. The match ended with a scoreline of 4-0 in favour of Chelsea.
