Breaking: Chelsea Take Steps To Sign Former Liverpool Man, Will This Deal Happen?

The former champions of England have already contacted Serie A outfit AC Milan, with the hope of signing attacker Suso in the days to come. Maurizio Sarri is looking at a host of top players to bring in to his squad, which has already looked formidable in the current campaign and it seems now that the 24 year old superstar is next on his list.

Tutto Mercato Web confirmed that Sarri isn’t taking things lightly with regards to the January transfer window and will be looking for more quality players in the days to come. He is focused on the task at hand and with his team delivering in the first half of the campaign so far, he will surely want to add more players that can assure him of a title win, in his debut season in England.

The player who was previously a member of the Liverpool family left back in 2015 and is now on the radar of the Blues’ boss, who looks quite eager to add him to his squad. He has been with Milan for the past three years and now the interest from the west London outfit might see him return to England in the days to come.

It would be a huge boost for his morale that a top club from England wants him now and a manager of the calibre of the Italian is interested in his services. Sarri moved to London, after making a name for himself with Napoli in Italy.

He would have an idea about the capabilities of the player and considers him as the right option to strengthen his squad in the long run. With that being said, he will look to offload some of his other stars, whom he does not feel the need to retain and bring in players of such quality.

Apart from the Premier League giants, it is La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, who are keen on signing him too. Diego Simeone will be looking to add him to his squad in Spain, though the English side will not want to let that happen.

Despite the failure to flourish in the top flight of English football with the Merseyside outfit, the player has always been positive about his experience with the Kops and has stated that it was part of his learning curve. This could be a reflection of his good attitude and the west London outfit might give him a chance to showcase his talent at the Bridge. If he is able to impress, surely Sarri will want to feature him regularly in his team.

However, while that is a good thing for the club, it could mean the end of the line for some players at Chelsea and they will probably leave and move on with their careers. Loftus-Cheek could be one such star. Fabregas could be another. Drinkwater will be sold too and it will be interesting to see, which reinforcements are brought in after the New Year, when the transfer window opens once again.
