Chelsea are reportedly eyeing to make a move for Denis Suarez in the upcoming winter transfer window. Denis Suarez is not getting regular chances for the Catalan Giants in this season. He has only made one appearance for Barcelona in this season and too in Copa Del Rey. The Blues are going to use this situation of the player.
There is no doubt in the talent that Denis Suarez possesses. He is an academy product of Barcelona; but his opportunities in the main team of Barcelona have been limited. He is clearly looking out of favour in this season after the arrival of Malcom in the summer transfer window. Denis Suarez can play in the attacking midfield or he can be used as a winger. The versatility of the player is making him so much valuable in the transfer market.
Many top European clubs including Chelsea have shown their interest to sign the 24 year old Spanish attacking midfielder in this winter transfer window. Maurizio Sarri’s men are still taking their time to settle into the Premier League in this season. The addition of Denis Suarez in their squad will give the manager more options in the midfield.
Maurizio Sarri is still trying to set his philosophy of football at Stamford Bridge. Though, the Blues are still unbeaten in all competitions so far in this season, they are not looking very much convincing. The coach is also not fully satisfied with the performance of his team. There are still many problems in this Chelsea side that need to be resolved quickly if the Blues want to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title in this season.
The manager needs to sign some new players in the upcoming winter transfer window and the club management of the Blues need to spend wisely this time. Maurizio Sarri should sign the players who will be perfect for his style of play. The new manager at Chelsea is trying to play N’Golo Kante in a newer role; but so far the French midfielder has failed to adapt to this style of play. The French midfielder might be the best defensive midfielder in this World right now; but he is certainly not looking comfortable in the new role. There are several midfielders in this Chelsea side who can be deployed in the midfield; but they are not performing consistently so far in this season.
Mateo Kovacic is serving one year loan period at Chelsea and it is very much likely that Real Madrid will call their midfielder in their squad in the next season. So,the club management of the Blues have to think about the long term solution of this problem. Denis Suarez might have been just the ideal player to fit into the system of Maurizio Sarri. Sarri will like a player with such passing accuracy and vision for goal. So, the Blues should go for Denis Suarez in this January and a move to Chelsea might be the best one for the player right now.
