What Will Happen With The Future Of This Manchester United Superstar Quite Uncertain (Not Sanchez, Pogba)

Juventus and Real Madrid are eyeing to make a move for Marcus Rashford in January. According to the report of the ‘Sun’, the Los Blancos are going to bid high for Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford in the next transfer window. As per sources, Real Madrid have £90m in their bank to snatch this two players. On the other hand, Juventus are also interested to buy the star centre forward of Manchester United, Marcus Rashford in the next transfer window. Though Manchester United will not let the English centre forward go in the next summer transfer window. This is going to be a thing to watch out for in the next summer.

Marcus Rashford came to the main team of the Red Devils from the academy. The 21 year old English centre forward was a sensation to watch out for at Old Trafford few seasons back. The fans of Manchester United had great hope from Marcus Rashford in the last two or three seasons. However, the English centre forward failed to live up to the expectations of the fans of the Red Devils in the last few years. The 21 year old English centre forward certainly got goals occasionally in Manchester United colours; but he was not able to prove himself as a goal threat for the opposition due to his lack of consistency.

There is no doubt about the potential of Marcus Rashford from his beginning days at Old Trafford. In fact the football fans were excited to get a new English centre-forward. Marcus Rashford became regular in the Manchester United side from the 2016-17 season. In that season, Marcus Rashford scored 5 goals for the Red Devils in the Premier League. In the previous season, the English centre-forward netted 7 goals and it was enough for him to earn the call up in the English National side for the World Cup recently concluded in Russia few months back.

In this season, Marcus Rashford already scored 2 goals for Manchester United in the Premier League. The 21 year old English centre-forward made 9 appearances only in the Premier League and four out of them were from the bench. Manchester United have a pool of attackers in their squad. The Belgian centre-forward Romelu Lukaku is still their number one choice as a centre-forward. So, it is difficult for Marcus Rashford to come into the first team to play as a centre-forward.

There are certain advantages of having a player like Marcus Rashford in the squad. The manager can use him in different positions for the sake of the side. Marcus Rashford can play at both the wings. Though, he has to face a stern competition at the likes of Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard. The contract of Marcus Rashford is going to expire after the end of the 2019-20 season.

The Sanchez issue might also impact the future of the player at the club and if the Chilean does indeed leave soon, it will be interesting to see what kind of opportunities the England international is then given. His former has been a major concern, though that can surely change with a few quick goals.

Based on current form though, Manchester United might accept a bid for him in the next summer transfer window and the Juventus club management are surely thinking about it in this moment. Whether it actually happens or not, only time will tell.
