Match Preview : Arsenal vs Manchester United, These Top Stars Will Miss This Big Match

The Gunners will face Manchester United in the FA  Cup match on Friday at the Emirates. The match is holding a great importance for both the sides. The FA Cup might be the chance for them to win a trophy in this season. The losing side will be knocked out of the Cup and their confidence level will also be lowered for the rest of the season.

Arsenal are upbeat with confidence after the win against Chelsea with a margin of 2-0 in the previous Premier League match. Manchester United have also won all the matches under the management of their newly appointed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. So, certainly the contest is going to be a crunching one.

Team News :

Arsenal :

Hector Bellerin is the new inclusion in Arsenal’s long term injury list. The right back of the Gunners will be out of action for the rest of season and probably the beginning of the next season with an injury of anterior cruciate ligament. Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding are also in this list who will not feature for the Gunners in this season. Henrikh Mkhitaryan also failed to recover in time to be fit to play against his former club Manchester United.

The Gunners are going to make some changes in their starting lineup. Alexandre Lacazette might be benched in this match. On the other hand, Alex Iwobi will be in the starting lineup for the Gunners. Unai Emery should involve Mesut Ozil in this encounter. The player has not been considered to be in the starting lineup of the Gunners against the Blues due to an injury problem. Lucas Torreira, Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka will have to play an important role for Arsenal in the midfield.

Manchester United :

The Red Devils will also be eyeing to win the match due to various reasons. Manchester United are in great form in this season after the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Paul Pogba is in great touch and he is leading every attack of Manchester United. The Red Devils are now looking to settle down their defensive unit too. David De Gea can make the difference between these two sides.

Marcus Rashford will not start this match for the Red Devils, as he is not fully fit. He was withdrawn from the field in the match against Brighton and Hove Albion with a minor injury. The manager will not wish to take any risk in this match. Romelu Lukaku is fully fit to start in this match and he will surely start in this match. On the other hand, Alexis Sanchez has also a high chance to feature against his old club. Juan Mata can also be used in the other flank in place of either Anthony Martial or Jesse Lingard.
