Chelsea Fans Will Want Sarri To Complete This Deal On Deadline Day

Chelsea winger Willian has emerged as a shock transfer target for French champions Paris Saint Germain right on the transfer deadline day. The Ligue 1 champions are looking to sign an able replacement for Neymar who is sidelined for 10 weeks at least due to a broken metatarsal. The Brazilian will miss the rest of the season which leaves the Parisians wanting for more from the transfer window. The former Barcelona man will miss both the UEFA Champions League round of sixteen fixtures against Manchester United, increasing Thomas Tuchel’s problems even more.

Willian always springs up as a surprise target for various clubs last time it was FC Barcelona who were very keen to sign the Brazilian winger from Stamford Bridge but finally the Blues did not agree and the deal did not go through. There have been talks of moving to China for the former Shakhtar Donetsk man. Now the same thing is happening with PSG all over again. The 30-year old has received a lot of stick from the supporters and pundits all over Europe, criticising his performances under Maurizio Sarri in crunch fixtures. The 30-year old, though was a second-half substitute in the Blues 4-0 shambolic defeat against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

With Chelsea’s unique policy of not allowing long extensions of the contract to the players who are currently on the wrong side of thirty makes it obvious that the 30-year old Brazilian will on his way out from the Stamford Bridge pretty soon. Willian currently has near about 18 months left in his current contract and a contract extension remains to be seen in the future. However the Blues have rejected an offer for the winger as coaching staffs and higher officials feel that he is a vital cog in this team and with the Blues going through an awful phase under Sarri, he being a senior player can lift the spirits of his teammates as Sarri and his men look to end the season on a high with a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Chelsea have also been pressurized by Bayern Munich for 18-year old winger Callum Hudson-Odoi as the Blues are adamant to hold the U-17 World Cup winner with England at the Stamford Bridge. They have literally turned down multiple bids from the Bavarians as the player himself is unsettled and submitted a transfer request. However, it looks likely that the German champions may have a chance to secure his services in the summer.

The club will welcome Christian Pulisic next season as they have completed a move for the United States winger and loaned him back to Borrusia Dortmund. Amid all of this, it is also expected that the club must be prepared as Real Madrid will again come calling in the summer for Belgian superstar Eden Hazard. The Belgian clearly stated the move as his dream club and with him being 28-year old already it is more likely that he may leave London for the Spanish capital.

Now the question arises will PSG be able to offer a deal which may tempt the Blues to sell Willian who actually is one of their crucial players going into the season.
