Revealed: Three Players Chelsea Should Already Be Preparing Offers For

The winter transfer window is over and like a lot of other clubs, Chelsea did get quite a few deals sorted out that were expected. From new signings coming to Stamford Bridge to away loan deals, the west London outfit did it all. The Premier League has seen numerous deals taking place in the past that have changed the face of a club, either the one selling a player or the one buying them.

In the past, the signing of the likes of Luis Suarez by Liverpool from Ajax or Dele Alli from MK Dons and many more such moves have always given clubs an eagerness to attempt their very own highlight deals. The signing of Radamel Falcao, Fernando Torres and Andy Carroll, in some controversial aspects were some of the others that didn’t make the expected impact.

The transfer window this time did not disappoint though. Gonzalo Higuain moved to Chelsea and Denis Suarez to Arsenal (both on loan), which has raised the expectations of the fans for the summer transfer window and they will be expecting more from the top EPL sides.

A few sides from England always go and spend big and Chelsea F.C. is certainly one of them. Here we have a look at three players the west London outfit could attempt to sign and are already possibly preparing offers for-

3. Nicolò Barella (Cagliari)

Nicolò Barella, 21, is a Cagliari central midfielder, Maurizio Sarri is very fond to purchase. Sarri sees him as the perfect replacement for Cesc Fabregas. In the early phase of the transfer window, Chelsea seemed to have been caught in two minds between Barella and Leandro Paredes of Zenit St. Petersburg, the latter who seemed more probable to sign for the club. However, a move to Paris Saint-Germain has now given Sarri a clear mind to retrospect and meet the demands of Cagliari.

Cagliari want £45m for Barella and Chelsea face competition from Sarri’s former club Napoli and Inter Milan for the signature of the player, who has been compared to former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard. The player has so far made four appearances for the Italian national side, having played at every youth level for the national team as well.
