Match Preview: Manchester United Vs Paris Saint Germain, Red Devils Said To Be Missing Ten Players For Crucial Tie?

Paris Saint Germain will face Manchester United at Parc Des Princes on Wednesday in the Champions League. Paris Saint Germain are holding an advantage of an aggregate of 2-0 in their favour after the first leg at Old Trafford. Paris Saint Germain are having two away goals under their belts to go into this match. The first leg of the Round of 16 match in the Champions League at Old Trafford was not very much helpful for the Red Devils.

The scoreline at the first half of the match was 0-0. However, Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe scored two second half goals which secured Paris Saint Germain’s win at Old Trafford.

Team News :

Paris Saint Germain :

Paris Saint Germain are still missing the service of their two forwards – Edinson Cavani and Neymar Jr. However, the French side have accommodated themselves playing without them. Kylian Mbappe is the only dependable player for them in the attacking third. In the first leg, Di Maria was in great form. He provided two assists in that match. The likes of Timo Kehrer and Juan Bernat are also back in contention to start this match for Paris Saint Germain. Buffon will start under the bars for the French side.

The experience of Buffon will be crucial for them in this leg. The manager of Paris Saint Germain, Thomas Tuchel is going to play with almost the same starting eleven of the first leg between these two sides. Dani Alves might go back to the bench and Nkunku might start in place of him in the starting lineup for Paris Saint Germain.

Manchester United :

The Red Devils are missing 10 players in this match. Paul Pogba was shown a red card in the previous match. So, he will not be able to start this match for Manchester United. Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic are also going to miss the match due to injury problems. So, the midfield of Manchester United will be weak in this match. In such a big game, holding the control of the midfield is certainly the most important thing. Manchester United are behind in this department from the beginning of the match. On the other hand, they are also going to miss three wingers. Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata will not be able to be in the contention to start in this match.

Romelu Lukaku is going to start as the centre-forward of the Red Devils in this match. The role of Romelu Lukaku is going to be really important in this match. Marcus Rashford will be placed in one wing and Diogo Dalot will be deployed in the other wing. Fred will be called in the starting eleven of the Red Devils alongside Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira to play in the midfield.
