Chelsea And Tottenham Target Is Zidane’s New Talisman

Luka Jovic

Los Blancos have signed Luka Jović from Frankfurt with a transfer fee worth £60m (£52.4m). The move is yet not confirmed by the official page of Real Madrid. However, authentic sources are reporting that Luka Jović to Real Madrid is now a done deal. According to reports in Spain, it was confirmed that Los Blancos was trying to get a hold of Luka Jović in the next summer transfer window.

The players in the attacking third have not been lethal for Real Madrid this season. That is the main reason for their one of our worst seasons in recent times.

The new manager of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane desperately wants to win the La Liga trophy next season. He knows very well that competing with the likes of the Catalan Giants will not be easy and the record of Real Madrid in La Liga in the previous few seasons are not as good as expected. Karim Benzema is ageing and he is certainly not at his best at the moment. But a young centre forward has been in need of the hour for Los Blancos.

The signing of Luka Jović will certainly make the squad for Real stronger for next season. The centre-forward has already scored 17 goals in 30 matches in the Bundesliga. He has also scored 10 goals in the Europa League. He is currently the top scorer of Europa League along with Olivier Giroud. The age of Luka Jović is also going in favour of him.

Luka Jović was in a loan period at Frankfurt. However, both clubs have agreed mutual terms and Luka Jović is now a permanent player for the German side. The 20 year old Serbian International has shown enough spark this season to get the attraction from the clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to sources, the star centre-forward for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane might leave after the end of the season. The north London side must have to buy one of their replacements in the next summer transfer window. Luka Jović’s stats in this season are quite impressive. Club management of the north London side have shortlisted Luka Jović as the ideal replacement option for Harry Kane at Tottenham.

Chelsea were also interested to sign the 29 year old Serbian International in the upcoming summer transfer window. Maurizio Sarri has had to face a lot of problems with the centre forwards this season at Stamford Bridge. The lack of support from the players in the attacking third has restrained them from winning any trophy this season. Gonzalo Higuain has not been able to perform as expected at Stamford Bridge.

The age of Olivier Giroud is also going to be a factor in the future. So, Luka Jović could have been an ideal option for them too. However, with Los Blancos confirming that the deal is and the addition of Luka Jović to their squad, it will certainly strengthen their squad for next season.

The west London outfit and their north London rivals may now look at alternatives to sign in the days to come, as they focus on strengthening their squad.
