According to BBC, Arsenal have loaned out young striker Eddie Nketiah to Leeds United for the next term. The young striker has been one of the brightest starlets in the talent pool of the North London club and will ply his trade for the Whites in the Championship as they look forward to making it back in the top flight in the next term.
The Gunners have brought in quite a few players this summer including the likes of Nicolas Pepe, David Luiz and Kieran Tierney. However, they have also let go of a few stalwarts, one of them being their former captain turned rebel Laurent Koscielny, who joined French side Bordeaux. Nketiah has earned a number of rave reviews from the experts given his stellar performances in the last term. However, lack of first team opportunities bogged him down, which has been a problem for the English striker, who is expected to play a big role at Elland Road in the next term.
The Whites have been trying their best and under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa, they made it into the semi-final of Championship playoffs in the last term as well. However, they were unlucky not to be able to go past Derby County. They will once again start their pursuit to make it into the top flight by winning the Championship or the playoffs in the next term and Nketiah is expected to play a significant role in that.
Known for his ability to run past the defenders with ease and find the back of the net with his powerful strikes, the 20 year old can turn out to be a match winner for the Whites in the next term. He has shown tremendous potential to make it into the Arsenal first team quite a few times in the last couple of terms and it is expected that he will get a lot more chances to showcase his talent for the Championship giants.
Marcelo Bielsa is known to be a great coach and under his tutelage, Nketiah is expected to have a good time on and off the pitch. It is supposed to be a learning curve for the forward as he looks to make a name for himself in the white uniform of Leeds United, as he is surely considered one for the future.
Arsenal are known to produce talented players and nurture to bring the best out of them. Nketiah is one of the starlets who have a great future in English football and his move to Leeds United will make him a better player. This is definitely a good move for all the parties involved as it will provide more first team exposure to the 20 year old young striker, while helping the Whites once again try to achieve their dream of making it into the top flight in the next term. Arsenal are also to be benefitted from the move as they expect Nketiah to return to the Emirates Stadium as a more matured and able striker after the next season.
