The manager of the Blues, Frank Lampard came into the match with a 3-4-2-1 formation. Kepa Arrizabalaga was as usual under the bars for the Blues. These two changes worked really well for the Blues. However, the equaliser of the Blues came with a mistake of Bernd Leno.

He misjudged the flight of the ball from a freekick of Mason Mount. Jorginho placed the ball perfectly into the goal. Tammy Abraham scored the winner at the 87th minute from a brilliant ball provided by Willian. The match ended with a scoreline of 2-1 in favour of the Blues, with finally a Chelsea win.
