The midfield of Chelsea have not been able to perform well at the middle of the season. There was a lack of communication between the midfielders and the defenders. Jorginho and N’Golo Kante- two top midfielders are out of the equation from this Chelsea side at this moment. In these circumstances, the youngsters have taken responsibility in their shoulders. Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour and Ross Barkley are playing really well at this moment. Mateo Kovacic is also in good form throughout the whole season.
