The Incident In CSK Vs RR- Chennai Super Kings were involved in a bit of a controversy with the umpires regarding Tom Curran’s dismissal that showed two sides of the coin. During their match against the Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah, Curran was given out by caught behind in the 18th over. The English batsmen wanted to go for the review right away but couldn’t because Rahul Tewatia had using it up for an LBW call simultaneously.
However, replays showed that the ball didn’t carry to MS Dhoni, possibly bouncing before it landed on his gloves. The decision was taken to the Third Umpire next and Curran was rightly judged as ‘not out.’
The interesting point of the tale is that there was another possibility which the umpiring team overlooked. The third umpire failed to check for the LBW decision quite clearly because of too much information fed from both the reviews at the same time. And the replays produced a clear picture of the batsmen getting trapped in front. Deepak Chahar was the bowler at that moment who caused the incident in the fifth ball. But his overall performance was again poor as he gave away 31 runs in his four overs, picking up only Yashasvi Jaiswal’s wicket.
Sakshi’s Reaction Post The CSK Vs RR Game
Sakshi Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s spouse, was the first to come up with her reactions for the incident as she lashed out at the umpire, alleging that they didn’t make proper use of technology. She took to Twitter and wrote, “If u r using the technology, then use it the right way… out is out whether its catch out or lbw…”
However, she managed to remove the tweet soon after to not fuel another controversy, now on a social media platform.

Some late show from Jofra Archer, of all people, helped RR to reach a mammoth score of They lost seven wickets.

For CSK, they face Delhi Capitals on Friday in just two days with a win and a loss to their name.
