The young captain has tried to impersonate Marcus Stoinis in the dressing room. The teammates including Marcus Stoinis have been elated with joy after witnessing such a funny act by their captain.
Delhi Capitals have started the tournament with a bang. They have been there at the top two positions in the league table for most of the time in the tournament. In the middle, they have lost their way a bit. However, they have made a strong comeback with a win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last match of the group stage. They have lost the first qualifier against Mumbai Indians, but they have secured their place in the playoffs after a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier.
Shreyas Iyer Does A Great Mimic Of His Delhi Team-Mate
Delhi Capitals have secured their place in the playoffs in the previous season too. They have reached the final for the first time in the history of Indian Premier League next season. Delhi Capitals have sorted out their plan very well in the big auction of 2018. They have bagged the experienced Indian campaigners along with the youth in the auction. In this season, two of their star players have not been present with their side. Jason Roy and Chris Woakes have opted to stay with their family. As a replacement, the management of Delhi Capitals has picked up Anrich Nortje and Daniel Sams. They have faced quite a few injury problems during the whole season.
Ravichandran Ashwin has picked up an injury in the first match of the tournament and he has been sidelined for a few matches. Ishant Sharma has not been able to take part in this tournament because of an injury. Amit Mishra has also got injured during the tournament. Rishabh Pant has also picked up an injury in the middle of the tournament and therefore the balance of the team has been hampered. Delhi Capitals have no Indian backup wicketkeeper. So, they have gone with Alex Carey. As a result, Shimron Hetmyer has been sacrificed from the team.

What Next For IPL 2020?
After all these incidents, Delhi Capitals have been able to stay strong and the credit goes to the team management. The head coach of Delhi Capitals, Ricky Ponting has completely changed the mindset of the dressing room. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have bowled brilliantly throughout the whole tournament. Shikhar Dhawan has led the batting department from the front. Shikhar Dhawan has been a key member of this side as he is one of the most experienced campaigners for this team. Shreyas Iyer has started the tournament with a bang.
However, his form has dipped a bit in the latter part. Rishabh Pant has not been at his usual best. Still, the bowling unit has delivered for the side. It will certainly be a tough test for Delhi Capitals against Mumbai Indians in the final, but they will certainly be up for the challenge.
