India did win the match in the end and thus, they have sealed the T20 series with 2 wins in a row. They would now be looking forward to a win in the third and final T20 match to whitewash Australia completely in the T20 series.

Hardik played a thunderous cameo of 42(22) and finished off the game in style with two sixes in the last over. Hardik Pandya has been in a tremendous form in Australia. In today’s match, he proved himself to be a worthy replacement of MS Dhoni as India’s next-gen finisher.

Having won the T20 series, India will now be looking forward to showing a similar performance in the Test series.
