Wasim Jaffer Shuts Down Troll With Befitting Reply On Twitter

Wasim Jaffer

The Wasim Jaffer Story- The Indian cricket team scripted history in Australia by defeating them in 2018 as they became the first Asian team to defeat the Aussies at home. However, there were criticisms and questions whether this team can beat the Aussies once main players like Steve Smith and David Warner returns from their respective suspension after the Sandpaper gate.

The Story Behind The Whole Troll And What Went Down In The Conversation?

The Kangaroos did not have their best two batsmen in Warner and Smith. Therefore the 2-1 win for the Indians was often considered with a pinch of salt. Both Smith and Warner were away from international cricket. It was during that time as they were serving their 12-month suspension due to the ball-tampering scandal.

However fast forward a few years later a young Indian side with several main team players injured with an inexperienced blowing lineup won the series 2-1 again and also breached the Aussie fortress Gabba. Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara and Risabh Pant played some majestic inning to chase down 328 on the last day in Brisbane to script history.

Both Smith and Warner were present in this season. Rather it was India who missed a lot of players yet came out victorious. So after the win, there was a lot of banter going around. Hence former Indian player Wasim Jaffer who is known for his hilarious Tweets said, “So what’s gonna be the excuse this time? Ponting, McGrath, and Warne weren’t playing?

The Twitter Conversation That Went Viral And Wasim Jaffer Came Out Like A Boss!!

It was a jibe thrown at the Aussies as they were giving excuses of Smith and Warner not being there last time out. However, this time even with them India has emerged victorious. On this Tweet, a random guy tried to question Jaffer’s credentials as a cricketer. The fan said, “How many Tests you played for India? Have you ever thought?”

Being the personality he is, the Mumbai opening batsman came up with a befitting reply. That is to shut the guy down. He wrote, “I might have played just 31 tests my friend, but when I see the Indian team play I feel like I am playing with them. I am sure billion+ people feel the same.”

His latest Tweet went viral as a lot of people stood by his side. It highlighted how he was a legendary figure in the Indian domestic circuit for years. He also did well in the limited opportunities he got to represent India. After this one thing is for sure, from next time people on Twitter will think twice before trolling Wasim Jaffer. He is the new boss on Social Media and that is well known now!!
