Virat Kohli is always known to be very expressive when he is on the cricket pitch. The Indian skipper is known for his enthusiasm and energy while he is playing. It was once again visible in the first innings of the third Test match, which started in Ahmedabad. This was seen when Joe Root got out to the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.
It was a good overall bowling performance by Team India on day 1 of the third Test. The series was tied at 1-1 in this four-match series. With that being said, each wicket was crucial and Virat Kohli wanted the England innings to be wrapped up quickly.
The Video Of Virat Kohli Reacting Like Dale Steyn When Joe Root Was Out That Went Viral
In the previous over of Ravichandra Ashwin, Zak Crawley was not given out on the umpire’s call. This had made both the bowler and the Indian skipper unhappy. They were so close to another wicket, with a partnership building.
However, this time, the umpire favoured them and gave Joe Root out. The decision was reviewed and it stood on the umpire’s call. This was the call that opened the flood gates for England’s downfall on the first day of this Test. Below is the reaction of Virat Kohli when Joe Root was eventually given out-

How Dale Steyn Reacted To The Celebration On Twitter?
Virat Kohli’s former team-mate at RCB Dale Steyn reacted on Twitter to the celebration. He spoke about the fact that the Indian bowler is very aggressive. He further added that he should have been a fast bowler much like himself.
Love Virat’s aggression. Imagine if he was a fast bowler ?

Virat Kohli would have been delighted by the way things worked out for him. He would also be happy with the response by the South African pacer. It is always good to see such comradery between players from different countries, current or former.
What Next For Virat Kohli And Team India In This Test Match; Can They Win The Game?
At the end of a couple of sessions on day 1, Team India is placed at 5/0. They have their openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma at the crease at present. The English team made a total of 112 in 48.4 overs. It was a poor batting performance and Team India has the advantage now.
It will be up to Virat Kohli and co. to grab the advantage now. The game is in their favour. The bowling performance by Axar Patel where he grabbed six wickets, has put the game in Team India’s favour. He got figures of 6/37. Now, it will be to the Indian batsmen to make something out of this game and take away the advantage. England’s rotational policy has not helped their case. They will have to bowl really well to remain in the game. Otherwise, Team India could take a 2-1 lead in this series.
