On the other hand, Virat Kohli has taken a short break after a hectic series against England for the last two months. As ESPNCricinfo says, that Kohli needs to serve one week of quarantine before he can start with his training. This is part of the guidelines to operate in the bio-secure environment. On Monday, after Kohli left the Indian camp, he left the bubble in Pune and thus has to serve a week quarantine before entering into the IPL bubble.

On Sunday, the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Indian captain said that the administrators need to think about the scheduling of the matches as the players and the members will face issues for staying in a bubble for a longer time. Virat Kohli has been part of a bubble since the end of January for playing the series against England. Before that, he was in bio-bubble for two months while playing the IPL in 2020. He was then part of the bubble in Australia.
