Andre Russell reacted to SRK’s tweet post-KKR’s loss against MI
Andre Russell put in a big performance in his bowling. He reacted to SRK’s Tweet. The Caribbean expressed his confidence despite his team’s loss and promised to make a comeback in the upcoming matches. He stated that he supports the tweet, but at the end of the day it’s a game and some days can go in favour of you and some can not. Russell feels that his team played good cricket and he is proud of the boys.
Things did not work out for them. However, that can happen in the game of cricket when both teams are really competitive.
What Andre Russell Said In His Post-Match Conference?
“Yeah, I support that Tweet but at the end of the day the game of cricket… you are not sure until it is over. I think we are still confident, we still played some good cricket and I am proud of the boys. You know, we are definitely disappointed but it is not the end of the world, it’s only the second game and we are going to learn from it.”
Russell state that he has seen a lot of games where teams can lose their way out in the end by losing a few wickets, even after being in the dominant position for most of the game. He feels that this is what happened with his team against Mumbai. They will learn from their mistakes, as it is just their second game, and hope to rectify it in the upcoming matches.
“I just think it is a game of cricket. I have played hundreds of T20 games and I have seen games where teams cruise in on the driver’s seat and then suddenly lose a few wickets, and that is what happened tonight. So, we definitely have to learn from this. We will look to make sure that who is in, stays in and once we learn from all these mistakes we will definitely do better. I have trust and confidence in the boys.”
KKR’s next match is against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 18 at Chennai. KKR are currently in the fifth position in the points table.
