Former Arsenal Striker “Lord Bendtner” Is Back In England On A Free Transfer

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, who scored a total of 45 goals in 171 appearances for the Gunners during his nine years with the club is back in England now. Yes!! The “LORD” is back, though he is not coming back to the Emirates at this point of time.

It seems that the 28 year old Denmark international has now joined Championship side Nottingham Forest on a free transfer, after his contract with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg expired.

The experienced attacker was available as a free agent, with the German side releasing him some time ago this year.

Bendtner has now signed a two-year deal with the club and will hopefully remain at The City Ground till his contract expires.

The Danish superstar was nicknamed ‘Lord Bendtner’ during his time in the English capital and has also played for other clubs like Birmingham City, Sunderland and Serie A champions Juventus on loan.
Fawaz Al Hasawi, the chairman of the club confirmed on social media that the deal had been completed by tweeting, “Please welcome Nicklas Bendtner who has joined #NFFC on a two-year deal.”
The tweet can be read below:

There is no doubt that the attacker can score goals if he finds the right kind of form, though whether he is able to impress or not for his new club shall be seen in the upcoming days, as the new season goes on.
