Latest Update On The Future Of Arsenal Youngster Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson

After getting very limited playing time last season, Reiss Nelson is set for a move away from the Emirates this season. With Saka, Martinelli, and Pepe already competing with each other for a place in the starting XI, Nelson doesn’t fit in the picture for the Gunners. With Arsenal looking to add more players to their squad this season, they will reportedly let Hale-end product, Reiss Nelson leave this summer as his playing time will be limited.

This was after the player rejected a couple of previous opportunities to move out on loan. He was stubborn enough to stay and wait for the right opportunities. Despite that, Mikel Arteta was also clear that he would not be getting game-time at Arsenal at that point.

The Latest Update On The Future Of Reiss Nelson; Where This Really Talented And Young Gunner End Up Eventually?

Fellow Premier League club, Crystal Palace are interested in acquiring the services of the young prospect. Crystal Palace is set to offer a season-long loan to Nelson. Palace’s new gaffer, Patrick Vieira is an Arsenal legend. He will be looking to get Reiss from his former club this summer.

The south London club is going under a major transition this summer as they have already released several players as free agents. Townsend, now at Everton, was one of the many players released by Crystal Palace, which is exactly why they’re looking to sign a wide attacker.

Nelson only made nine appearances for the Gunners in all competitions last season and he is one of the players Crystal Palace are looking to sign this season. Palace is also looking at other players to sign such as Arnaud Danjuma from Bournemouth and RB Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman.

Can Patrick Vieira And Co. Actually Help The Quality Arsenal Star Develop Into Something Special In The Days To Come; A Win-Win Situation For The Gunners?

The Eagles have already signed Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher on a season-long loan last week, which means they are allowed to sign another player on loan from a Premier League club. As per reports, Crystal Palace is closing in on Reiss Nelson who will add pace to their attack.

Patrick Vieira’s presence at the club will make a huge impact on the player’s career. He can revive and push it to new heights. With that being said, the 21-year-old winger will be hoping to make an instant impact. He will want to do what Joe Willock did at Newcastle. That would be a great way for him to leave his mark on the top flight of English football. A league where he has failed to make an impression so far, after being a top player in the Bundesliga.

The Arsenal star still has a long way to go in his career and his impact could be influential in taking the club back to new heights. That is if he can make an impact and turn things around. So far, he has not done anything major to show that he deserves to be at the Emirates. However, that can change in a season or two if he does everything right. Only time will tell whether Reiss Nelson is good enough to play in the Premier League or not!!
