Riyan Parag Makes A Tweet About Virat Kohli; Fans Troll Him On Social Media

Virat Kohli

Team India had the perfect start to the second Test against England. Virat Kohli and co. were really good after being put in to bat by Joe Root. The English skipper made the call after winning the toss, as he wanted the visitors to take charge on day 1. He wasn’t disappointed and the Indian openers delivered putting up a 200+ run partnership.

Both KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were quite impressive and the fans loved every minute of it. Though Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli couldn’t live up to the expectations, they did add a few runs. The latter was the better of the two and added a 100-run partnership with Rahul as well, who was unbeaten at the end of the day.

The Tweet By Riyan Parag About Virat Kohli That Caught A Lot Of The Fan’s Attention

Riyan Parag sent out a Tweet about Virat Kohli about his look in Test cricket. This did not go down well with the fans. They started targetting the player on Social Media platform Twitter due to this reason. The King Kohli fans were just not pleased with Riyan talking about the Indian skipper.

What a lot of them failed to understand was that he was talking about the patient Kohli versus the aggressive one. The fanbase has its way of trolling and bantering cricketers. Well, it could be the effect of IPL rivalry too. The fans are just what they are and one can love them or hate them, but everyone wants them.

Below is the Tweet that the Rajasthan Royals’ star sent out-

The post went berserk on Twitter, with fans wanting to comment on their opinions. Some came out with positive remarks. Most of the fans were not happy as to how the player was poking his nose into the Indian captain’s business.

What About The Game And Team India’s Strong Hold On The Match?

Well, Team India has the advantage over England after the first day of the second Test. They ended the day on 276/3 and had a couple of sessions to their name, with one being shared. It was almost the perfect day for Test cricket for Virat Kohli and co. They dominated an overseas match after quite some time.

IPL 2021: How Virat Kohli's Advice Helped Riyan Parag Develop a Positive Outlook

Team India has been really aggressive and good since the first Test. They were unfortunate that the rain stopped play when they had an advantage. With that being said, the players will now want to capitalize on the start that they have gotten this time. The team will want to win and take a lead in this five-match series.

Well, with the visitors in the driving seat at Lords, England will want to really react and make an impact on the second day of this second Test match. Whether Joe Root and co. can actually do that or not, remains to be seen. For now, the Indian side will be enjoying the momentum that they have. Nothing less than a win in this game will give Virat Kohli and his side the satisfaction after such a brilliant start. Let’s wait and watch what happens next!!
