Arsenal Looking To Bring Back Dani Ceballos To England

Arsenal is keeping an eye on Dani Ceballos’ position at Real Madrid and might make a January approach for the midfielder if he is released.

Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Dani Ceballos, in what can only be regarded as a desperation effort on the part of the Gunners. In accordance with a report from El Nacional, the Premier League heavyweights are keeping a careful eye on the status of the Real Madrid midfielder, who has been plagued by injuries throughout the season thus far.

Around the end of November, Ceballos is expected to be back to full strength. In the meantime, he is doing individual training, and if he is able to return on schedule, the midfielder may have a chance to get into the Real Madrid team under Carlo Ancelotti.

Arteta is pleased with Arsenal after their win against a 'tough' Leicester team

There are, of course, other possibilities available than bringing back the former Real Madrid superstar. However, a stunning return to the Emirates Stadium is also one possibility. As previously stated, the midfielder was on loan at Arsenal for the previous two seasons. He played a total of 77 competitive games for the Gunners, with his most notable achievement being the FA Cup victory during Mikel Arteta’s first season in command.

Ceballos, on the other hand, was a disappointment throughout his time at Arsenal, since he lacked consistency in his performances. The addition of Thomas Partey last summer, along with Granit Xhaka’s unexpected comeback, had an impact on his position in the first team, ultimately leading to the Gunners deciding not to make an attempt to re-sign him in the summer transfer window.

Following a lengthy search, the Premier League giants decided on Albert Sambi Lokonga, who has performed well since signing from RSC Anderlecht. However, it looks that Xhaka’s early-season injury has once again placed Arteta in a vulnerable position, as he appears to be without a suitable backup for either Partey or Lokonga.

Ceballos’ situation will be examined in January and then a final decision will be made regarding his future

As a consequence, the Gunners are looking into the possibility of re-signing Ceballos in the January transfer window. There are other options available, though, with the club being linked with a move for Real Betis striker Guido Rodriguez.

Interestingly, Los Verdiblancos are the team that Ceballos is most likely to join if he decides to leave Real Madrid over the winter months. His ideal club would be Real Betis, and he would be delighted to return to the Benito Villamarin, where he would be reunited with his old Arsenal teammate Hector Bellerin if the opportunity arose.

However, it remains to be seen if the Spaniard will be able to make an impact under Ancelotti when he returns to full health later this year. The former AC Milan manager is open to providing Ceballos more chances, which is not surprising considering the club’s financial predicament and the age of their trusted midfield trio of Toni Kroos, Casemiro, and Luka Modric, who have all played an integral part in the club in the past.
