It has now been confirmed that Premier League giants Arsenal are planning to push through a move for considering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente, according to reports. The 21 year old superstar is at present on loan with newly-promoted side Alaves and is a target for Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger.
Spanish media outlet Don Balon adds that the north London outfit are looking to push through a shocking move for next summer.
The youngster is said to be one of Real’s brightest upcoming talents in their academy at present and was given the opportunity to showcase his talent for the senior side against Levante in October, a year ago.
Despite that, the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have pushed him down the pecking order and getting regular first team action has not been easy for him.
Due to this, it is being suggested that the Premier League giants are looking to offer him a big money contract and can possibly convince him to move to the Emirates, at the end of the current campaign.
The reigning champion of Europe want the midfielder to stay and fight for a place in Zinedine Zidane’s side, along with Casemiro, though the lack of game time would be really frustrating with him, with the competition for places that there already is at the Bernabeu.
With both the clubs making steady starts to the new term, things will be quite interesting as this transfer saga slowly could develop into something big in the upcoming days.
