‘Bidding Starts From €37M’-Arsenal Set To Sign The Midfielder To Replace Thomas Partey In The January Transfer Window

'Bidding Starts From €37M'-Arsenal Set To Sign The Midfielder To Replace Thomas Partey In The January Transfer Window

Youri Tielemans, a midfielder for Leicester City, is being watched by Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window in 2023

Calcio Mercato says that Arsenal, who are leading the Premier League, want to sign Leicester City’s star midfielder Youri Tielemans in the January transfer window of 2023.

The Belgian international is one of the best players for the Foxes and has been a key part of their recent success. He is known for scoring the winning goal in the 2020/21 FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.

Since then, the 25-year-old hasn’t reached the same heights. He’s in the last few months of his King Power Stadium contract. As of now, he isn’t any closer to signing a contract extension. So he could leave the club for free next summer.

Arsenal is showing interest in Youri Tielemans

When Tielemans becomes a free agent, there will be a lot of teams interested in signing him. Arsenal, one of the teams that want to sign him, wants to make a move in January to beat the other teams to it.

The Gunners have had a good start to the 2022/23 season. They are currently in first place in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s team has had some bad luck, but they haven’t lost yet and look ready to make a long-awaited run at the title. There is still a long way to go in the season, and adding the right players in January could give them the boost they need to keep going.

Since Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard joined the Gunners in recent years, they have been able to compete with the best teams in the league. Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka, and Emile-Smith Rowe are just a few of the players who have stepped up their game in recent times. They have shown that they belong in the starting lineup.

Tielemans is a player who does everything and can run the game even in the middle of the park. He is a game-changing addition in a key area. This is because he can not only find the right pass but also take a few shots on goal. Even better, he is only 25 and just getting into his best years, so he can still improve.

What’s next for the Gunners?

Leicester should also sell the player in January instead of letting him leave for free in the summer. The Foxes have no way of giving the 25-year-old a chance to win a trophy. Even though Arsenal still has a lot to prove, bringing the Belgian international to the Emirates would be a step up.

If Tielemans does well at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year, it could be his chance to try out for a team. Many teams want to add to their midfield. He could be in high demand when the January transfer window opens.
