The Sun says that Yeremy Pino can be bought for just £25 million in January. Arsenal is already planning a bid for the forward.
Arsenal has been interested in Pino for a while. They were linked to him in the summer. But his rumoured £65 million release clause was seen as a problem.
Ben Jacobs said that the winger would only move for more than £60 million. But he also said that anything less than that would be a “fantastic signing.”
On The Done Deal Show, Jacobs said: “All summer, Arsenal fans have been talking about unknown wingers, and by the way, Yeremy Pino is great. He is a great player. I think this is one to keep an eye on. First of all, he has a release clause. If Arsenal can get him for less than that clause, it will be a great deal for them. The release clause is over £65m. The feeling is that Arsenal’s interest is in the mid-30. So it would be a great business move and an ambitious one as well.”
Yeremy Pino moving to Arsenal?
But now, because Villarreal is still having money problems, Pino is for sale for a lot less than that release clause. The best part is that Arsenal can afford to buy him.
After not being able to sign Douglas Luiz by the deadline, Arsenal has money to spend in January. Mikel Arteta is rumoured to be given a £50 million budget for January.
Only half of that budget would be needed to go out and sign Pino. We think that would be the best way to use those funds.
Arsenal needs both a midfielder and a winger. At £25 million. Pino would fill Arsenal’s need for a winger and leave them with enough money to sign a midfielder.
What’s next for the Gunners?
The winger has already played for Spain, but he’s only 20 years old and has a lot of room to grow. If Arsenal signs him for just £25m, they could get a huge return on their money in the years to come.
Mikel Arteta has led Arsenal to the top of the Premier League standings. He has made sure that they are still in the running for the title after 11 games. As Manchester City continues to catch up from behind, there is no clear favourite.
Even though the Gunners haven’t had any major injuries, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey got injured early in the season, which showed how weak they were. As for the second part, Arsenal wants to sign Danilo from Palmeiras in January.
Another big worry for Arteta is that there aren’t enough wide positions from which to attack. Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka’s seasons are off to a great start. But they don’t have enough support. Marquinhos and Reiss Nelson aren’t good enough to replace them. So it looks like they’ll have to be brought in.
