Dean Jones says there is a “high chance” that Arsenal will sign Danilo from Palmeiras in January. Danilo is a key midfielder whom Arsenal wants
Give Me Sport, through Dean Jones, says that there is a “high chance” that Arsenal will sign Danilo in January. The midfielder from Palmeiras is a key target for the Gunners in the next transfer window as Mikel Arteta looks for ways to improve his team.
Arsenal wants to strengthen their team by adding key players during the January transfer window. Mikel Arteta has steered the Gunners to the top spot in the Premier League. They will remain keen to hold on to the five-point lead over Man City.
On paper, Arsenal’s current squad is not up to scratch to mount a concerted title challenge against Man City, who have a considerably deeper team. The Gunners’ biggest problem is that they don’t have enough good players. This is especially in the middle of the field and on the wings where they attack.

Will Danilo move to the Emirates in the January transfer window?
Edu Gaspar, who is in charge of sports, wants to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk to improve Arsenal’s attack. The Brazilian executive is also working on a deal to bring Palmeiras’ star and key midfield target Danilo to the Emirates in the next window.
Arsenal has been trying to sign the 21-year-old player since January of last year. Late in the summer transfer window, they reportedly made a firm offer of £22 million. Palmeiras, for their part, wanted the player to help them with the Copa Libertadores campaign. This could allow them to do business in January.
Jorge Nicola, a journalist, says that Arsenal is getting ready to make another offer similar to the one they made in the summer. This time, the Gunners are hopeful that they will be able to sign the player because they have talked about it with Palmeiras for a long time. Dean Jones, a journalist, thinks that a deal could happen in January. This means that the Gunners have a “high chance” of signing Danilo.
Jones said, “I think identifying the central midfielder is something that is interesting. They’re looking at it right now. Danilo’s definitely one they are making ground on; I think there is a high chance that they try and get that one pushed through.”
Danilo, who is 21 years old, is not expected to start right away if Arsenal signs him. Arteta will need a lot of time to develop the young player and give the player time to get used to English football.
The manager will hope that Danilo can fill in for Thomas Partey when he needs to because Arsenal doesn’t have enough players in the holding midfield position.
