With Eintracht Frankfurt possibly making a decision on Djibril Sow’s future in January, Arsenal is prepared to compete with Newcastle United for the player
Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow is wanted by both Arsenal and Newcastle United. The 19 remaining months on the Swiss international’s contract suggest a possible exit the next January.
Though a championship run is possible, a top-four finish should be Newcastle’s primary objective. Though they’re now five points behind Arsenal, Man City is still the favourite. The head coach of the Magpies has already begun scouting the market in search of new players to add to the squad.
They need a new forward and a new midfielder. Howe addressed a major need in his squad by acquiring Bruno Guimaraes, a superb player who can contribute immediately. If Eintracht Frankfurt makes Djibril Sow available, the Magpies may be interested in signing him.
