Gabriel Martinelli is now on Barcelona’s radar, according to the Spanish daily SPORT. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Catalan giants will be keeping a careful eye on his play. And they already have a solid connection with the entourage of the in-form Arsenal striker.

Although Gabriel Martinelli eventually established his dominance at Arsenal, it took some time. The prodigal youngster, now 21 years old, signed with the Gunners in July 2019 from Ituano. Also, this season has been his breakout year as one of the leaders of Mikel Arteta’s youth movement at Arsenal.

The Brazilian international has scored five goals and assisted on two more in 20 games played. Furthermore, Martinelli has already made his impact at the highest level by playing three times for Brazil in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
