FC Inter News reports that Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, has made an offer to acquire Yunus Musah from Valencia. Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, is reportedly interested in signing Musah as well.
The team managed by Mikel Arteta allegedly made an offer for the American international midfielder. But Valencia rejected it as being too cheap.
According to the report, Valencia is considering selling the 20-year-old who led the United States to the knockouts in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool were said to be interested in signing the kid. He was formerly with Arsenal from 2012 until 2019 before joining Valencia of La Liga.
90min reported earlier this week that both Liverpool and Chelsea had contacted Musah’s agents to express interest in a trade.
MAYBE YUNUS MUSAH WILL JOIN ARSENAL OR LIVERPOOL
We think Liverpool or Arsenal, with the right offer, may sign Yunus Musah from Valencia in the January transfer window. Though Valencia is a major club, Los Che may be tempted to cash in on the 20-year-old while he is at the peak of his popularity.
Gabriel Jesus’ replacement:
TEAMtalk suggests that while Gabriel Jesus is out of action, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will switch to using winger Reiss Nelson in the striker role.
As a forward for the Gunners, Reiss Nelson may replace Gabriel Jesus. According to the rumour, Gabriel Martinelli will start in the midfield for Arsenal under Arteta’s management.
The Arsenal striker often plays the left side of a front three. According to the report, Arteta might also play Nelson in the central striker position.
Former Manchester United and Manchester City player Hargreaves called him “a super-talented player” on Premier League Productions. Jesus, a striker for the Brazil national team, is now out with an injury and may not return for another three months.
We think Reiss Nelson should jump at the opportunity to play centre forward for Arsenal. The winger is mostly used as a substitute for Arsenal. But it would be fantastic for his career if he were given more playing time at any position.
The 22-year-old English winger has been used in two Premier League games as a substitute for Arsenal this season. In just three games, the kid has tallied two goals and provided an assist.
Nelson has started two UEFA Europa League games for Arsenal this season. He has appeared in two more as a substitute. He has also assisted in one Carabao Cup game.
