The 2022 FIFA World Cup finalist Adrien Rabiot is reportedly a target for Arsenal. During the tournament in Qatar, Rabiot and the French national team did really well. The 27-year-old’s performance for Juventus has been as impressive.
Top European teams have taken notice of him after his impressive play in the just-concluded FIFA World Cup. Due to this, it’s quite doubtful that Juventus will be able to sign the player to a new contract.
Arsenal, though, would rather not wait until Rabiot is available for free in the summer. They would want to sign him as soon as possible in January.
Will Adrien Rabiot move to Arsenal?
Rabiot had a productive World Cup for France, starting all six games and contributing to one goal and two assists. Every game he has made 1.7 interceptions, made two tackles and won 5.5 duels.
The Gunners boast a number of quality midfielders, including Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. However, Rabiot’s participation will be much appreciated. Arsenal needs a plethora of quality if they want to win the Premier League.
On December 27, Arsenal will play again when they host West Ham United in a Premier League match. After a long run at the FIFA World Cup, Mikel Arteta will have to get his squad back on track.
