“I Will Choose Between Arsenal And Chelsea”, Arsenal And Chelsea Set To Lock Horns For The Signing Of The £5,000-PER-WEEK Manchester United Star

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who has yet to pledge his future to the club, is being monitored by both Arsenal and Chelsea

Fichajes claims that Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Alejandro Garnacho, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2023.

With Erik ten Hag’s strong interest in moulding Garnacho into a valuable asset, the adolescent has already broken into the senior setup. An occasional burst of brilliance might be crucial, as he develops into the ideal successor to Cristiano Ronaldo.

United is said to be looking for a replacement for Ronaldo. But they may already have a perfect fit in Garnacho. His lightning quickness and silky dribbling are likely to give the opposing defence a lot of trouble.

United’s most recent goal was scored by Garnacho against Fulham in their last Premier League encounter before the World Cup break. The Argentine beat his defender with explosive speed and completed the play with an excellent finish.

Will Arsenal and Chelsea get Alejandro Garnacho?

United and the player have not yet come to terms on a new deal. But early indications are that the club is pleased with the progress that has been made. They will give the player updated terms.

His massive compensation increase in the new contract will help the club safeguard his worth. Since Mikel Arteta doesn’t have a lot of wide choices, Arsenal will be without Gabriel Jesus for a few months at least.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have both had impressive seasons. But they might benefit from having more competition on the team. Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic are  potentially leaving Chelsea this summer. So, Graham Potter may be interested in giving Garnacho a massive platform on which to display his talents.

What’s next?

The player, though, is content in his current quarters. He has no plans to leave the club until he is coaxed to do so. Both of the London powerhouses are aware of Garnacho’s desire to leave and will make overtures to sway him.

On Wednesday night, Garnacho started for United as Ten Hag’s side defeated Burnley 2-0 in the Carabao Cup. The 18-year-old showed promise early on before being swapped off for Antony towards the hour mark.

Garnacho showed once again how big of a problem he can be for the opposing defence. But he was unable to get on the scoreboard despite having a wonderful opportunity to score in the opening 10 minutes. Fans hope he can continue to flourish and grow more at Old Trafford. This is because of how obvious his raw skill and promise are everytime he goes on the field.

Achieving playing time as a youngster in the Premier League is challenging. United’s young players (those under the age of 20) played a total of 1,527 minutes last season, second most among all teams. So far, Garnacho has played 80 minutes in the Premier League for Ten Hag’s side. This is split across three games (against Brighton, Aston Villa, and Fulham).
