“….Will Choose Between Manchester United And Arsenal”, Arsenal And Manchester United Fight For The Signing Of The €126 Million SUPER STAR

Arsenal Manchester United

According to the French media site Le 10 Sport, negotiations between Arsenal and Manchester United and football agent Jorge Mendes have progressed to an advanced stage over the purchase of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.

beyondtheposts news
In 2019, Atletico Madrid paid Benfica in Portugal a record €127 million to acquire Felix. The attacker has 3.5 years left on the 7-year contract he signed that summer.

The Portugal international seems to lose Diego Simeone’s favour this past season. While Atletico Madrid has played 14 La Liga games this season, he has only started five of them.

It has been reported that Felix will be allowed to leave Los Rojiblancos in the next January transfer window due to a rift between the player and club manager Diego Simeone. Recently, club CEO Angel Gil Marin revealed the team’s interest in selling the forward.

What did Atletico Madrid’s club CEO Angel Marin say about Joao Felix?

He said: “Joao Felix has top level but because of his relationship with Simeone and game time… we feel that makes sense to consider potential bids to sell him. I’d love for Joao to continue, but this is the current situation.”

His agent, Mendes, is friends with PSG adviser Luis Campos. Therefore the French club was mentioned as a possible destination for the 23-year-old. However, the aforementioned source claims that Les Parisiens have no interest in signing the Atletico Madrid player.

Accordingly, Felix is expected to leave the La Liga powerhouses for a Premier League team in the near future. It has been said that Arsenal and Manchester United are in a bidding war to sign him.

According to Le 10 Sport, negotiations between the Gunners and the Red Devils on a transfer for Felix are in their “final stages” with Mendes. One of the two teams will likely end up signing him soon.

There aren’t many big European teams who actively pursue transfers during the winter transfer window. Arsenal and Manchester United, two of the league’s biggest clubs, are likely to make significant additions to their rosters in the next January transfer window.

Will he go to Arsenal or Manchester United?

After Gabriel Jesus was injured during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Gunners are considering signing a new attacker. As a result of his knee injury, the Brazilian will likely miss a considerable length of time.

Since parting ways with Cristiano Ronaldo, Erik ten Hag’s squad has a hole to fill. They have a player in Felix who can step in for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner for Portugal.

According to GiveMeSport’s interview with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has contacted super-agent Jorge Mendes about bringing Atletico Madrid player Joao Felix to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners will enter the second half of the Premier League season with a five-point lead. Manager Mikel Arteta will have the opportunity to bolster his roster in the next transfer window.
