David Moyes Gives Hilarious Reply When Asked About Arsenal Game

The Premier League is back and it will be Arsenal facing West Ham at the Emirates. This will be a return game for the Gunners, who are currently on top of the Premier League table. Mikel Arteta and co. want to win this game for sure. However, David Moyes and his side will want to take something from the Arsenal game!!

The Hammers have not had a great season so far and will want to turn things around. They now have the perfect opportunity to make a statement if they can beat the table toppers at home. By no stretch of imagination, this will be an easy game for either side.

Despite that, the north London giants know that they need to win this edition of the London derby if they want to remain on top. Otherwise, the way Manchester City has been performing over the years, it will be their title to claim once again.

What Was The Statement Made By David Moyes About The Arsenal Game That Got A Lot Of Attention!!?

The former Manchester United and Everton boss is now set to face Arsenal. He is not new to this. However, the form of his team is not at all good this season. They are a shadow of the side that they were last year. This has not made the fans happy, who wanted to see further progress this term.

A game against the Gunners is not easy this season. Nothing can be taken for granted, as they have produced some brilliant performances. However, that was prior to the FIFA World Cup 2022. Things will now be a bit different, as the teams try to regain some momentum.

In his pre-match presser ahead of the Arsenal game, Moyes was asked ‘whether this was the right time to face Arsenal?’. To which he gave a really funny reply. The comment went viral and the fans surely would have had a laugh. Some Arsenal fans would have even had a tear or two in their eye, as ARSENAL IS BACK!!?

This Could Actually Hurt Moyes In The Long Run!!

Moyes really needs 2 things to happen for him and fast. One, he needs to get a good result at the Emirates and further on, so that he is not on the “sacking-list” this term. Further, he is already on the naughty list now of a Santa Claus, whose catch phrase is “Good Ebening”!!

In either case, Boxing Day’s Arsenal game and a so called 11th March fixture could be crucial to ensure his longevity as the West Ham boss. That’s the date when the east London outfit faces Aston Villa. May the best team and man (manager) win!!

The top flight of English football is a great competitive league. The top four race will be intense this year. Further, there will surely be some drama at the bottom of the table as well. Only time will tell who prevails and who goes down!!
