“I Was And Am A Fan Of Liverpool…”, £85,000-PER-WEEK Arsenal Star Makes A Big Revelation That He Is A Big Fan Of Liverpool

Arsenal Liverpool

Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, has come clean about his past as a Liverpool supporter. On the other hand, he has already ruled out ever playing for one of Arsenal’s Premier League opponents.

Since coming from Real Madrid for £30 million last summer, 24-year-old Odegaard has been an integral first-team player at the Emirates Stadium. By acting as the team’s primary source of inspiration, he has contributed to the Gunners’ continued dominance in the Premier League this season.

The Norwegian, who plays midfield and is gifted with flare and vision, caught attention during his team’s 3-1 home victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Monday (December 26). With his two assists in the second half, his side was able to make a comeback.

What did the Arsenal player Martin Odegaard say about Liverpool?

Odegaard told NRK that he has always been a huge Liverpool fan and has been since he was a kid. As he went on to explain:

“My father was a big fan, so as a kid I didn’t have a choice. There was also Arsenal, but Liverpool was the team I really liked. Not much can get me to leave this place. I really enjoy myself here. I could see myself living here for a few years the way things are now. Want to make this place unique. I want to help make the club what it is and help it win things. That is the big goal. The plan is to stay here for a long time.

Over the years, I’ve moved a lot. It feels good to land a bit and feel like I’m in a place where I’m going to be. I hope to stay here for a long time. When I first got here, I really felt at home. I was very well-liked. I felt like I was a part of the group right away, so it was great to be here.”

Odegaard has played 80 times for Mikel Arteta’s squad in all competitions, contributing 15 goals and 11 assists.

The Gunners were superb

Amid the likes of Jude Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez, and Sofyan Amrabat, AC Milan’s Ismael Bennacer has reportedly been targeted by Liverpool as a potential transfer target, as reported by SOS Fanta. The Reds’ boss, Jurgen Klopp, is said to be a big fan of the 40-time Algerian international.

However, Milan is eager to improve their deal with the Algerian player. According to the report, the player’s agent, Enzo Raiola, has already spoken with Milan’s directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.

Bennacer, a midfielder who was signed by Arsenal for two years between 2015 and 2017, has been attracting the club’s attention as of late.

As a member of the Stefano Pioli-coached squad, Bennacer has appeared in 126 matches, scoring four goals and assisting eight others.
